The name's Basil & it's been quite sometime since I've been active here. Plenty of reasons why; my laptop died, I went on a journey of self discovery & found that I'm not straight nor cis 🏳️‍🌈 (big surprise there/s) & I becamed obsessed with a pirate with a pleasant, open face who is only known for being a meme, go figure. Anyway, the point is that I've reccently picked my pencils & decided, hey I've already posted this new interesting art to my other socials, why not post it here & see how much I've improved? (*Spoilers* It's mostly pirates).

Oh, also I go by They/He pronouns despite what it says on my DeviantArt page (don't the folks that run this site know that multiple pronouns are cool as shit?).

A little Update

Hi-Ho! Thought I'd better add a new journel entry since the last one is nearly six years old! (wow, I was 18 then now I'm 24). I've now posted all the new artwork I've made in the past two years on here, so it may be a while until some new stuff is added as life in general may get in the way (work, games, films, TV, books, learning to drive & personal family matters being the main things for me currently). My Dad did buy me a new tablet for me to use with the computer my sibling left me before they went of to Asia, so I'm going to be testing around with it using krita to get used to it and fingers crossed I may post some digital pieces here in the future. I'll still be posting traditional art too (I just bought a ton of art supplies so I damn well better XD). That's it from me for now, I'll catch ya later! Basil
